“You are my heart’s dancing partner and I could dance with you forever”
Can you imagine meeting your soulmate at 10 years old, how amazing would that be?! Well, that’s exactly what happened for Connor and Claire. They met at the dance studio in just sixth grade. Instantly, they became best friends and throughout the years they stayed close. They’ve been dancing together for years and on September 3, 2021 they danced their first dance as husband and wife!
Claire and Connor had their ceremony and reception at The Barn at Monterey Valley in Allegan, Michigan. The venue has a number of locations for unique shots, and since Claire and Connor opted for a first look, we had plenty of time to capture some dreamy portraits of them prior to the ceremony (shameless plug that I’m a HUGE fan of first looks – if you want to read why I love them so much, you can head to my blog post devoted to first looks here).
Claire and Connor thought of every last detail for their guests from wine, to beer, to coffee, s’mores, and even dog treats for guests to take home to their fur babies!! The joy and love in the air was contagious, and it was SO evident that the bride and groom were truly enjoying every minute of having their closest friends and family around them to celebrate becoming one. I’m so fortunate I was able to be a part of their special day and can’t wait to share this album with you. So, without further ado…
