Pro tip: end your beach side engagement session in the water!
I am still obsessing over the photos from Will and Jess’s engagement photoshoot at Riley Trails & Tunnel Park on the shores of Lake Michigan. Will and Jess were so much fun to work with! They were up for anything (even running into Lake Michigan at sunset in October!), and my OH MY did we get some gorgeous photos because of it! Keep scrolling to see what I mean.
Will and Jess met at the Kalamazoo Beer Exchange while Jess was serving and Will was a cook. During a party, hosted by a coworker, they got lost in conversation and started dating shortly afterwards. After about three and a half years of dating, Will planned a surprise birthday weekend and he pulled out allll the stops. We’re talking, friends visiting from out of town, going to her favorite restaurant, and even SKYDIVING. Well, all those surprises were just the beginning because from the air Jess’s tandem instructor pointed to a sign that said “MARRY ME?” and when she landed Will was on one knee. I’m so honored to have captured this exciting time in their life and am wishing them the most magical day next year as they wed in Hawaii!
