In our line of work, it never fails to warm our hearts when we get to work with a high school sweetheart couple tying the knot.
I went to high school with the bride and groom as well and have seen their love story come full circle, so it made photographing their wedding day all the more special. They met when Zach was a sophomore and Morgan was a freshman at Plainwell High School. Their story is the ultimate #highschoolsweetheart success, after years of dating they tied the knot on June 11, 2021 at The Silos near their hometown. Zach and Morgan’s day was full of joy and love that was so tangible you almost feel it!
Their big day was full of celebration and love. Not only did the bride and groom meet in highschool, their entire bridal party was made up of friends from highschool/childhood. The familial bond was evident when Zach’s mom pinned the boutonnieres on each of the groomsmen individually. Playfully she pretended to poke each of them and remind them she’s “known them since they were just boys”, it was clear that this bridal party felt more like family to each other than friends. Every detail from Morgan’s stunning gown, to locally made dessert, and a full dance floor, made for an unforgettable evening.
