“When we have each other, we have everything”
We are now in what feels like full force of winter here in Southwest Michigan. Cold nights and snow abound so I’m doing my best to stay in a Fall state of mind with these photos from my session at Asylum Lake Preserve with the Phillips fam. There’s nothing like that golden hour light to take family photos to the next level!
Photographing the Phillips family was such a blessing! Kinsey is my cousin and man-oh-man did she and her husband go out of their way to support me! They drove the nearly two hour trek to meet up for this session with me in Kalamazoo.
During our session, my goal is always to take myself out of the equation! I want to draw you into your natural element and capture the moments that document the true expression of YOU! It’s not always easy with little ones, but Finn was such a trooper during this session, keeping himself occupied playing and having fun interacting with mom and dad!
