Congratulations on your engagement! Now that you’re officially on the road to forever, it’s time to capture the essence of your love through engagement photos. One of the key elements to creating stunning and timeless engagement photos is choosing the right outfits. In this guide, we’ll walk you through some tips on what to wear to ensure you look your best and your love story is beautifully reflected in every frame. Please remember that these are just suggestions! You will look fabulous, regardless!!!

Consider neutral tones or soft pastels that work well together without being too overpowering. Solid colors photograph best. So, if one of you want to wear a subtle pattern(think flannel, your dress has a pattern, etc) then just be sure the other person has a solid color to compliment it!
Dress for the Location: Think about the location where you’ll be having your engagement photos taken. Whether it’s a romantic beach, downtown on the city streets, or a woodsy landscape, your outfit should align with the environment. Choose outfits that not only complement the location but also stand out against the backdrop!

I recommend checking the weather forecast to ensure you’re comfortable during the shoot.

Whether you’re a bohemian duo, a modern couple, or classic romantics, let your outfits tell your unique love story. Comfort is Key: While looking stylish is important, comfort should not be compromised. You’ll be moving around a lot, as I prefer more prompt/action based poses opposed to stiff! I might even have you sitting on various surfaces during the photoshoot. Choose outfits that make you feel confident and at ease, ensuring you can fully enjoy the experience without any wardrobe concerns. I promise, if you are uncomfortable it will show in your final gallery!
