So you want engagement photos that stand out and capture your unique love story? I’ve got you! One of the best ways to make your engagement session unique is to pull in elements of your story. Try:
- Choosing a special location. Think about places you both love to visit, where you met, or where you spent your first date.
- Doing an activity you both enjoy. What are some sports or activities you love to do together? Maybe hiking, golfing, or visiting local coffee shops.
- Bringing meaningful props. Do you and your boo have a favorite drink to share, game to play, or show to watch? Popping champagne bottles, playing Monopoly, or Disney-themed sessions are always welcome!
- Including your fur baby in the session. Bringing along your dog (or cat, no judgment here) is a fun way for animal loving couples to make their photos unique!
Charlie and Nicole wanted a super meaningful and nostalgic engagement session so to start, we headed to Saugatuck Beach where he proposed. After that we headed into town and they shared a craft beer at a local brewery. One of their favorite things to do together during their free time is travel around to new breweries, and their first date was at One Well (a Kalamazoo brewery) – so this stop was a double whammy for unique style points.
