Raise your hand if you love a good engagement story!! One of my favorite moments of meeting a new wedding photography client is getting to hear their love story and seeing the smile on their faces as they paint the scene of their engagement. Mason and Avery’s is no exception (and it may even give adventure loving couples some inspiration) and to celebrate the final gallery of their wedding album, I’m going to share it with you!
Avery tells it like this: “We were backpacking at Isle Royale National Park, and in the middle of our 40ish mile trip, Mason found a beautiful lookout and sneakily set up his go pro camera to record a video and then asked me! It was PERFECT!”
Avery initially reached out after hearing about Flourishing Tree on Facebook and we had an instant connection over the phone, so I was thrilled when they had decided to book me for their wedding! We captured their engagement photos at one of my favorite outdoor Kalamazoo locations (especially in the Fall) Al Sabo Land Preserve, last October, and this summer we celebrated as they agreed to forever on July 16th.
I am so excited to share some of my favorite snapshots from their special day! Keep scrolling to the very end to check out the vendors that helped make Mason and Avery’s day extra special.
