“My favorite part of our wedding day was the intimacy of the small wedding [which] made for such beautiful memories and so much flexibility to do whatever we wanted because of our wedding size!” is what one of my recent brides, Megan, shared with me after their big day. There is such beauty in an intimate wedding and Ryan and Megan truly embraced the elegant simplicity of their day.
Ryan popped the question at a beautiful restaurant in the mountains of Hawaii while visiting Megan’s sister and they tied the knot on July 2 in the small town of Caledonia, near Grand Rapids, MI. Megan’s sister did her hair and their flowers were from Trader Joe’s (shout out to the floral section of Trader Joe’s for always slaying it). Even their venue embodied the intimate theme since it was a private venue that doesn’t typically host weddings!
