Family isn’t defined by our genes. It’s built and maintained through love.
That is exactly true for this blended family wedding. On June 18, 2021 Jake and Kylie tied the knot, bonding not only themselves, but both of their daughters from previous relationships and the daughter they share together as a family. The beautiful Lake Michigan beach town of Holland, MI was the perfect setting for these two families to become one. The ceremony was held outdoors at a local waterfront park and the reception was held at the luxury event venue, Port 393.
The showstopper of the whole ceremony (behind Kylie walking down the aisle in her stunning gown, of course) was their baby girl cruising down the aisle as the last flower girl (AKA petal patrol) in a mini Mercedes with “Daddy, wait ’til you see Mommy” written on the hood. Just wait til you see it, you won’t be able to help yourself from saying “awe” like the rest of the audience did!!
There was no shortage of fun for everyone in attendance as they celebrated Jake and Kylie’s marriage. The dance floor was packed and it should come as no surprise that as a former Piston cheerleader, Kylie choreographed a fun family number for Jake, herself and their 2 oldest daughters to perform at the reception. I’m so grateful to have been a part of Jake and Kylie’s story as their two families came together. Take a peek below at some of my favorite snapshots from their big day!
