Are you ready for the most romantic love story ever? Keep reading!
Tim can still remember what Skyler was wearing the day he met her, in 7th grade. They were friends for years through middle school and high school. Needless to say, Tim spent a lot of time in the friend zone. After high school graduation in 2018, they went their separate ways for college and career paths. Now several states away, you’d think their story was over, but God was just weaving the details together. In 2019, they rekindled their friendship across state lines, and this time it was different. Feelings developed and over the holidays they reconnected in person.
Now, here’s where I come in to their story. Tim reached out to us with this incredible plan of surprising Skyler during a family trip to South Haven on July 6 to propose. Of course it was an emphatic YES on our end. Tim was still living in Kentucky at the time and Skyler was under the impression she was going to South Haven to shop and explore the beach town with her family. Little did she know that the man of her dreams would be waiting for her at the end of the pier and I was the lucky one who got to capture it all.
Now here is where it gets really cool, are you ready? Three holds an extra special meaning to this couple because over that Christmas holiday when they rekindled their relationship, they spent three days together, fasted together for three weeks following, dated intentionally for some time and now are celebrating a THREE month engagement and tying the knot on October 23, 2021.
